Wedding favour box

Hello everyone

Today’s tutorial is this gorgeous wedding favour box, I originally was going to make it on the envelope punch board with a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, but there seemed to be alot of waste of paper after I did some trimming. So I wanted to make the box a different way where there was hardly any paper going to waste at all.

I made this box mostly out of 6 x 6 papers with a bit of Cardstock for the Base and the belly band. I used love blossoms designer series paper which you will find in the clearance rack.

I love how this turned out

So here are the measurements

Base of box

2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ (6.9cm x 6.9cm)

Score 1/2″ (1.2cm) on all 4 sides

Sides of the box using paper

2 x 2 3/4″ x 6″ (6.9cm x 15.2cm)

Score on the 2 3/4″ (6.9cm) side at

1/2″ (1.2cm) and score at 1/2″ (1.2cm) on opposite side

Score on 6″ (15.2cm) side at 5″ (12.7cm)

2 x 1 3/4″ x 6″ (4.4cm x 15.2cm)

Score on 6″ (15.2cm) side at 5″ (12.7cm)

Belly band

1 x 7/8″ x 12″ (2.2cm x 30.4cm)

1 x 7/8″ x 5″ (2.2cm x 12.7cm)

Paper for the belly band

1 x 11/16″ x 4 7/8″ (1.7cm x 12.3cm)
