Stitched shape framelits 40th birthday box

Hello everyone

I’m so excited to be bringing this project to you, I wanted to use the stitched shape square framelits to make a box and I just love the finished result.

I also wanted to make it a 40th birthday box because my friend turns 40 soon and I wanted to put a nice gift inside for her.

I used Bermuda bay Cardstock, and the number of years stamp set. I didn’t want to over embellishment it as I didn’t think it needed it.

Please follow my tutorial that’s further down below of this page to see me showing how to make the box.

So here are the measurements for the box

Cut 5 squares out of the stitched shape square framelits in Bermuda bay Cardstock.

Strips to make up the sides of the box (Bermuda bay Cardstock)

4 x 2 5/8″ x 1″ (6.6cm x 2.5cm)

Score all the strips on 1″ (2.5cm) side at 1/2″ (1.2cm)

Base of box (Bermuda bay Cardstock)

1 x 3 5/8″ x 3 5/8″ (9.2cm x 9.2cm)

Score at 1/2″ (1.2cm) on all 4 sides

Lid of box (Bermuda bay Cardstock)

1 x 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ (9.5cm x 9.5cm)

Score at 1/2″ (1.2cm) on all 4 sides
