Hello everyone

Today’s blog post is a bit different, myself and some other fantastic demonstrators who are apart of the Pootles team (Pootles papercraft) are doing a blog hop for January, as it’s our birthdays this month.

So our theme is birthday, so we either have to make a birthday card or a birthday theme project.

I’m so excited to being doing this blog hop as it’s my first one, and I can’t wait to see other demonstrators projects as well.

So I’ve made a very simple but elegant birthday card, and I love how it turned out.

I just did some simple layering I used Sahara sand as my Base card and layered blushing bride and very vanilla card on top. I stamped a beautiful lace border from the delicate details stamp set on to the very vanilla and using sweet sugar plum ink. I stuck them altogether and I did exactly the same for the sentiment.

I made a bow using very vanilla 5/8″ ribbon and added that to my sentiment and then added a falling in love embellishment to the bow.

And that’s it!!! so simple.

Anyway…. I’m looking forward to seeing everyones projects

Love

Vicky x

  1. Your beautiful card made me realize that I need to earn that SAB stamp set! Excellent layering, too, and I love the fact that by changing the inside sentiment the card could even be a wedding card. Happy birthday and TFS on this Blog Hop.
